What do I get with the free mockup?
A real design of your actual business's homepage, with you in 2–3 days. It's free, there's no payment, and there's no obligation to go ahead.
What happens after I get my quote?
A member of the LoopTech team will check in with you to answer any questions and understand what you're trying to achieve. If a quick call would help, we'll arrange one. If you've requested a free homepage mock-up, we'll use your brief to create a design around your actual business. There's no obligation to go ahead.
How long until my site is live?
Live in 5 days from the deposit. We start with a 50% deposit, and your quote is valid for 14 days.
Who owns the website?
You do. You own the code either way. Your domain is registered in your own name (around R99 a year), and online payments go through PayFast in your name, so money goes straight to your bank account, never through us.
Do I have to pay you every month?
No. Hosting and care is optional, at R450/month: hosting, the emails your site sends, automatic backups, security updates and monitoring, and small tweaks and questions answered.
What makes a great website?
Not just something that looks nice. A great website is built around how your business actually works. It loads fast, works perfectly on a phone, is easy for real customers to use, and is set up to be found on Google. Most importantly it should save you time, handling bookings, quotes or orders automatically instead of leaving all the work to you.
Do you work remotely, or only in Cape Town?
Both. We work fully remotely and take on clients anywhere, with everything from the first chat to design, build and ongoing support happening online. Being based in Cape Town we are also happy to meet local clients in person when it helps. Distance is never a barrier.
Can you take over my existing website?
We build new websites rather than maintaining existing ones. If your current site isn't working for you, the free mockup shows what a new one could look like.
Why did you start doing this?
We kept seeing small business owners stuck with generic template websites that all looked the same and did nothing to help them run their business. With a background in business analysis and IT projects, we knew we could build smarter systems behind the scenes. A lot of what we build started as problems we solved for ourselves first.
